We had much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!
Including a visit from this lady.
Grandma Dear came in from Missouri to spend Thanksgiving with my little family and my parents.
I am so very thankful to have a grandma like her.
And I love that my kids love their great Grandma Dear!

The kids helped us decorate the house for the holidays.
Here they are filling a mason jar with cranberries and a candle.

Our Thanksgiving table :)

Our apple pie was mighty delish.  Throw some vanilla ice cream on there with some fresh whipped cream and you have yourself a real treat!
The kiddos helped Grandma make these cute name cards for our table.

Baby girl got LOTS of grandparent snuggles.

You don't find Grandpa J without his 4-legged friend very often.  Toby also made the trek to Marion.  I'm pretty sure he got his fair share of turkey too.
This girl is practically crawling now. Can't believe she is 6 months old!

It was nice to see GT kick back a little.  He's not really the relaxing type but he did take some time to relax during the holiday.  And believe me, he took PLENTY of time to go hunting so he should be good for the season.  Right, hubs?  :)

I feel so incredibly thankful for these precious ones!

And now we've officially started in the Christmas season.
This mama has LOTS to do!

I am a diet Coke girl through and through.
But some days are real Coke days.
Yesterday, friends, was a real Coke kind of day.
Rowdy Kids.
No naps.
Real Coke.

We got our first snow of the year.
One day in t-shirts the next in winter coats and hats.
Yup, that's Indiana for ya!

I've started baby girl on foods.
She likes to eat and it's no surprise that food has been a hit.
I'm sad that she's growing so quickly.
But I suppose I should be thankful for a healthy growing girl.
So that's just what I'll be!

And Allie's rolls aren't the only ones we ooh and ahh over these days.
I've learned how to make homemade yeast rolls and whoa baby are these good!

Will is definitely my water baby.  I was cleaning up the house while Jace was gone with Dad and Allie was sleeping.  After I got done running the vacuum I found this in the kitchen.

He keeps us on our toes!
Is Thanksgiving really one week from today?!  Eek!
At the moment I'm thankful for.... real Coke! :)

Have a great day!

Pirate Will and Batman Jace

Phew!  I survived the craziness of last week!
The kids were troopers as bedtime’s were stretched, mama was stressed, and our normal schedule was tossed out the window.  I kept saying “I’ll be glad when this week is over” and now that it’s over, I’m sad.
Anywho, here are a few pictures of our week.
Greg had to leave for Bloomington on Halloween night so it was just me and the kids.  Euclid Ave is a happenin’ place on Halloween so instead of dragging my kids out in the misty, cold rain alone, we opted to stay home and pass out candy.  This turned out to be equally as fun and the kids loved seeing all the other kids in costume and tossing a piece of candy in their treat bags.

Pirate Will and Batman Jace.

And they certainly ate their fair share of candy.  In fact, we ALL did : /

Sometimes I look at these three and I can’t believe they are ours.
We couldn’t love them more!

This babe loves her bath time!  She also loves chewing on her fingers.  I'm guessing some more teeth will be popping through in the near future.  It makes me soooooo sad when baby's teeth pop through.  I think their looks change so much.

Speaking of teeth, here is a good view of them.

I’m not sure if this stuff is heaven sent or from the devil himself.  Either way I can’t keep my hands off of it.  Oy, the thought of Hawaii in December won’t even deter me from eating it.

Hope your November is off to a good start.

I saw this on facebook and I wanted to share it here...

"America's hope--not in the donkey nor the elephant but in the Lamb."
Thank you, Jesus!
