Happy Monday!

Hey all! Here's my attempt to get you caught up on the happenin's at our house.

We continue to make strides in getting settled to our new digs. Slowly but surely we will get all unpacked. Jace is pictured below playing the guitar, of course!
I love when I get alone time with Will. It is few and far between but I do cherish it!
Jace got his second haircut. I love it.

I tried to take his pajama shirt off but he refused. He loves Elmo. What kid doesn't?!
I am taking a business statistics class that is kicking my butt and interfering with my play time (that includes watching the Bachelorette--probably a good thing but still sad. Cape Cod Chris and Roberto are my favs if you were wondering). I hate numbers.
Jace hearts popsicles.

We peaked in at Jace in the nursery on Sunday and saw that Jace had convinced the nursery worker to be a basketball hoop and was shooting baskets into his "hoop" over and over again. Classic.
Will is getting teeth. Not fair. Not fun. Too young (hey, that rhymes).
We are training for a sprint triathalon coming up in August. I am scared out of my mind but also looking forward to the challenge and experience. Training has been good--painful, but good. I figured I would post my intentions of doing the triathalon on this blog for the whole world to read (since the whole world does read my blog) so I couldn't easily back out when the race actually rolls around. So far I can hardly do any one event on it's own. In just 5 weeks I will have to do all three continuously. Lord, help me. Maybe I will get an award for worst time? Or maybe for biggest postpartum belly?
Greg took last week off and we enjoyed having him home. He was a great help to me and I am sad that July is right around the corner (crazy busy recruiting month). Greg did a TON of yard work. Our landscaping looks BEA-U-TI-FUL!
I wish these little boogers would stop growing so fast. I am crazy about them!
Will is now 3 1/2 months old. He is rolling over and just started giggling!
Happy Monday!

Bye friends!

Sweetness

Amanda of a.tonagelphotography took a couple pictures of the boys for me over the weekend. I love my sweet babies and I love these pictures!

Sweet William.

You wouldn't believe the word that got this boy to smile. Booty!
Sweet Jace boy.
It's late and I am pooped from a busy weekend hence the short and sweet blog entry.

Happy Father's Day to my awesome, loving, and studly husband. You're the best Dad! Love you, Greg!

Buffalo Wing Dip!

If you haven't tried this recipe and you are a fan of buffalo wings, this is a must! It is a great appetizer for a group (men especially love it!) at a cookout or a get together for a ball game. With the NBA Finals right behind us, it seems like I made this every other night!

Ingredients:
1 can of chicken or leftover shredded chicken (1 large can or 1 cup) *I am not usually a fan of canned chicken but for this recipe it really works!
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese
buffalo wing sauce (we LOVE Franks)
ranch (I always use generic for this recipe)
shredded cheese (we prefer monterey jack)

Spread softened cheese in pie plate or small baking dish. Add chicken over top of the cream cheese. Next, drizzle hot sauce until nearly covered. Add ranch dressing overtop to your liking. Sprinkle shredded cheese and voila! Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. You can also cover and microwave for a couple minutes.

I promise, your party will love this!

Jamieson or Tonagel?

C'mon, how can people actually think this baby is all Jamieson?! He has Tonagel written all over him!
GT Junior to me!
What do YOU think?

Bak-a-ball!

Here are a couple pictures of Jace sportin' his new kicks.
A few funny tidbits about his new shoes:

-He thinks he has shoes just like his dad so he will point to them, smile, and yell "Daddy!"

-He wouldn't let me take them off during his naptime yesterday so he slept with them on.

-He calls them his "bak-a-ball shoes" and must wear them with his "bak-a ball shorts". The kid really does love "bak-a-ball".

Jace is wearing his basketball shoes, sporting a baseball shirt while holding a soccer ball. Is he all boy or what?! I love having boys (but Lord, please grant me a daughter someday)!

Bye friends!

New Shoes

It's bad when you go to get your son new shoes and you realize that he has been wearing shoes that are 2 sizes too small... oops! Sorry Jace!

And so we got him some new kicks. Greg and Jace went on a "Daddy date" and came home with some new Nike's. Greg tried to tell me that these shoes are for the basketball gym and the basketball gym only. C'mon, like we will be able to keep these shoes clean--he is almost 2! Sorry honey, your precious Nike's are bound to get dirty.

I AM

Have you heard this song?

I could always use reminders that He is I Am.

We've moved!

We are officially moved in to our new home. We LOVE our new place and are so thankful for this blessing! We have enjoyed making it "ours" and look forward to hosting many family/friends gatherings here. We have tripled our square footage and quadrupled our number of bathrooms so there are a couple empty rooms for now. I imagine it will be a work in progress for the next couple of years (or are homes every really "done"?) My mom and dad are currently visiting and I am greatly enjoying the extra help! It's been fun showing off our new neighborhood as well as Indiana in the summertime. We have enjoyed Greg's infamous pulled pork sandwiches topped with coleslaw, wagon rides, walks, grilling out, strawberry shortcake, wiffle ball, and much more! I hate to see our visit end. Why can't everyone I love just move to Indiana already?!

Our swingset in our new backyard. Jace loves swinging in the "shark".
Our sweet William!
Our big boy, Jace!

I plan to post more pictures of the house... next time!

Bye friends!
