Ready, Set, Smile!

Here are a TON of pictures from our trip out to DC. We had a blast visiting with our amazing family! Enjoy!

Our drive went surprisingly well. Praise God for DVD players and Elmo.

Aren't my boys getting big? Sniff, sniff.

Our trip included a little of this...

And some of this...
But mostly included lots of this... family, food, and a whole lotta' fun (I'm corky, I know)!
Megan got to meet her nephew for the first time!
And Uncle Joel and Uncle Joel too. Jace thought these two were a pair and kept calling Troy, Joel. We would point to Joel and ask "who's that?" And Jace would reply "Joel!" And then point to Troy and ask "Now, who's that?" And he would reply "Joel!" Sorry Troy, for now, you are just going to have to be called Joel.
Ben and Lauren are expecting their first baby in August--Morgan Marie. We planned the trip to celebrate Morgan by throwing Lauren a baby shower.
I loved spending time with both my family and Greg's while we were out there!
Tonagel men.
Lauren and Ben enjoying the anticipation of having a baby of their own, and in the meantime, loving on mine!
Jace is terrified of dogs (but also infatuated with them) so we wanted to get Will acquainted with them early so he doesn't follow in his big brother's footsteps.
Auntie Lolo and Brother (as he is often called).
Grandma loves her grandbaby!
We celebrated my sister turning 30 at the end of the month at a crazy busy, crazy good Mexican restaurant called Cactus Cantina just walking distance from my sister's apartment.
Waiting for our table--party of 11 plus a baby!
Jace loves his Aunt JJ (Not really sure when he started calling her this but it really stuck)!

Megan and Malorie came early to visit and help with last minute preparations--thanks girls!!
The beautiful and delicious cake. It was called Susie's Pink Lady and it included three layers of vanilla butter cake with raspberry buttercream and fresh raspberries. YUM!

The shower favors--milk chocolate bars with a label that read "Oh Baby Oh Baby Oh Baby, Lauren Jolly is having a Baby!" They were so cute and so delicious!
A poem from Jill, Mom, and me. And the "Bottles and Booties Advice Book" full of open ended questions for her friends to sign.
The food display--so pretty right? It tasted even better than it looked!
The mommy-to-be being showered with gifts! I love all the pink!
3 generations of Jamieson girls!
Aunt Megan loving on Will!
Aunt Malorie's turn!
Time to say goodbye... no fun!
We loved seeing everyone and always look forward to our next family gathering. Love you ALL!

In other news, we close on our house on Friday! We are so excited to finally get this ball rolling!

Phew. I'm done! Bye friends!

And here are a few more pictures that Amanda took from the weekend.
It was one of the best Mother's Days ever!
As I write this we are battling with Jace to pick up cereal he threw on the floor. In timeout, out of timeout, in timeout... He is stubborn but for the most part is an incredibly sweet little boy and very loving to his younger brother!
My precious baby! Would you believe he slept 11 hours last night? Too bad I only slept 6 because I stayed up late getting things done!

You know you're a mom when...

You know you're a mom when...

You take important notes from the insurance agent on a magna-doodle.

You have perfected your animal noises (I can do a mean monkey)!

You don't mind kissing the lips of a dirty, sticky, smelly toddler!

You aren't totally disgusted by drinking from a bottle of water with a piece of back wash floating in it (eww--I know)!

You end up talking about "Sid the Science Kid" on your double date night out!

Your husband is no longer the only love of your life--I currently have 3!

You drive a mini-van. That's right! I joined the millions of other moms out there and caved. I'm not going to lie--I love it!

Phew. Being a mommy of two is hard work (hence the lack of posts on this blog) but I am loving every minute of it! I had a special Mother's Day this year, getting to reflect on all the wondering moms in my life and getting to celebrate with my two sons! We had a great time with family and friends at Potato Creek State Park.

Here Greg is pictured with his brother Ben, mom and grandma.
And a pic of our family!
Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day celebration!

So long friends!
