Sista Sista!

I had a great time visiting with my sisters over the weekend! Lolo and JJ as they are known to Jace were so sweet to make the trip all the way out here to visit their nephews. They are wonderful sisters and my best friends! Here is a glimpse of our weekend...

We went to the park.
Lauren and Jill both "wore" Will :) He's in there somewhere!
They made sure Jace got a lot of attention and kept him busy!
They snuggled with the sweetest, most snuggly baby ever!
We gave baths.
We lounged outside. Notice the little bum climbing the slide in the background? Hehe.
We read books.
We got to witness some brotherly love.
We actually got out of our pj's on occasion and managed to put makeup on!
We cooked, danced, talked, ate, and just enjoyed being together with sisters.
We said our goodbyes. And shed some tears. But look forward to a spring/summer of lots of sisters visits!
I love family. I love my family. I love the family I gained when I married Greg. And I especially love my two sons and adorable hubby. Life is good!

Ciao friends!

Juggling Act

It seems as though having TWO kids now has left me less free time which means less blogging. Life at our house has been good but chaotic as I expected. Jace has been doing whatever it takes to compete for my attention even if it means hitting me or threatening to stomp on his younger bro. He has been a handful but brings us so much joy! Will is a great baby in every way. He sleeps really well at night and is pretty mellow during the day. He is starting to smile now which is so fun to see! He often smiles when his older brother is holding him. They love each other already! I wish I would have done a better job documenting our past couple of weeks, but here's all I've got. We did go to an indoor water park with Greg's family and have spent MANY hours outside but I have nothing to show for it. We have been having lots of fun lately. So here are a couple pics of our little ones...

Oh, I forget to mention! Jace had his first haircut. Thanks Rachel for doing such a great job. He looks so handsome! Are you all thinking "Finally!"? It was time.

I can't believe Will is 6 weeks old today. Where does the time go? We love him SO much!
Could he be an early developer and be entering into his terrible two's already? HELP! We love him so much too!
I wish I had more hands to snap more pictures of our little ones... I will get better at this juggling act!
Here is a little video for your viewing pleasure.
My sister's are coming tonight for a visit to see their nephews. I am SOOO excited!

Have a great weekend friends!

Update!

My apologies for not updating the blog sooner. I have been a little busy! We had a sick boy on our hands last week and he kept me busy with his clinginess, cleaning up some sort of bodily function, and all the extra laundry from those bodily functions. We are on the other end of it and I am so thankful! Whew, we survived!
Here is Greg on one of the most CHAOTIC nights we have experienced as parents. Picture this, lots and lots of vomit, diarrhea, screaming babies, and a dad reading incredibly loud to drown out the screaming babies. I went from sobbing to hysterically laughing in seconds!
Nana to the rescue! She came and lent me some help with the boys and housework. I think she did 10 loads of laundry while she was here. Thanks Nana!

We headed to LaPorte for Easter. We enjoyed a nice worship service and got some relaxation time in. Here is Papa flying a kite with Jace.

Happy 30th Birthday to the best husband and dad I know! We celebrated in the morning by doing a little shopping and going to a root beer stand for lunch (not a good place to go if you are trying to lose that extra baby weight). We had so much fun! Later that night we had our friends Jeff and Tiff over for a steak dinner (delicious!) and strawberry shortcake (also delicious!)

Grammy Jamieson sent Jace an Easter basket and he loved all his new goodies! Here he is checking out a slinky for the first time.
And he loved the Nerf football she got him so well that he insisted that it join him during his naptime. Hah!
I looked out my kitchen window the other day and saw this. I just smiled. This scene makes me happy.
Our baby is getting so big so fast! He will be 5 weeks old tomorrow.
I just love these two!
Have a great weekend friends!

P.S. I thought spring was officially here? It is rainy and in the 40's today... no fair!
