I have been racking my brain to figure out WHO Will looks like. Sometimes I will get a glimpse of Jace and sometimes I think they look like total opposites. Here is a flashback of Jace at a few weeks old and a current picture of Will wearing the same outfit. I will let you be the judge.

Here is Jace at 3 weeks old.
And Will at 2 weeks.
Jace again.
And Will.
I think they will look like brothers. Not twins, just brothers. What are your thoughts?

P.S. I showed Coach the pictures of his sons and he thought it was all the same baby. Oh boy...

Love is in the air!

I. LOVE. SPRING! I always get excited when the weather starts to change. I look forward to spring turning to summer, summer turning to fall, and yes, even fall turning to winter. But there is something EXTRA special about winter turning to spring that makes my heart go pitter patter. Spring is finally here and I am so thrilled! We have been through such a huge transition in the last few weeks that spring's arrival is just icing on the cake! We have enjoyed heading outdoors and look forward to daily outdoor excursions this year.

Speaking of love, let's take a look at a couple other things I love. I love babywearing. Courtney of Richard's Family Adventures convinced me to buy this baby k'tan carrier last year and I absolutely love it! I think Will loves it too :)
I love these two. Here they are doing their morning devotionals together. How sweet!
I love how much Jace loves basketball. I don't, however, love how close he is sitting to the TV. The kid already can't get enough March Madness!
I love my second born.
And my first.
And I love seeing them together!
Oh, and I love being a mom!

Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane...

Here is a picture of our sweet William. My sister in law took these when he was just 6 days old. You can see more pictures by visiting her photography website. Click here now!
We have had some fun in the last few days. Let me catch you up...

First, having 2 boys is just plain fun. They are going to be the best of friends (and probably the worst of enemies at times) and I can't wait to see them grow up together!

Second, we got to go to the see Greg coach in the national tournament out in Branson, MO. It was a blast and although it ended a bit too soon (we lost in the Elite Eight game), we had a great season and are so thrilled for our team and what they've accomplished!

And thirdly, we got to ride in style in a private jet on the way out there! Some friends were gracious enough to fly us and come along for some good basketball. We had a blast and would not have been able to go without them. Thanks Ott's!
Flying with a baby has never been so easy!

So while Jace was at home being spoiled by Grammy, Will was off enjoying his first basketball game and first plane ride.

My mom is leaving tomorrow and leaving me ALL alone with these two little monkeys... I hope I can handle it! AND I just found out that my sisters are coming to visit in 4 weeks to meet their newest nephew! I am so excited and feel so fortunate to have such a great family!

P.S. Anyone else thankful for the sun today?

Got milk?

We had a great day today. I am starting to feel much better and regain some of my energy (thankfully, because I need all the energy I can get chasing around my little monkey). My postpartum discomfort is subsiding now and I am feeling more and more like myself! Here are some pictures of the last day. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE spring and how glad I am that it is just around the corner?!

Here is Jace playing outside. I love the way he looks in a baseball hat. I had to snap a couple of photos.

Who do YOU guys think Will looks like?

He is such a sweet and snuggly baby. We adore him!
We took Jace to the park today to get out and burn some of that stored up energy. He had a blast bouncing on the teeter totter animals.
But he loves sliding down the slide even more! He wanted to do it over and over again!
I will leave you with this picture. Can you guess what's been going on at our house? I found him "pumping" in the living room today. Hah!
Oh and one more thing... here is a quick video of Jace on the slide.
Thanks for checking in!

Home Sweet Home

We finally made it home and are getting settled into our new (and improved) life. We got home Sunday afternoon and Greg took off shortly after us arriving home. It was an EXTREMELY tough goodbye but I am thankful that he gets the opportunity to lead his team to a national championship! We were able to have a couple video phone calls which is helping with our current long distance situation.
Thank the Lord for grandma's! I don't know what I would do without them! Thanks to her I came home to a loaded pantry, clean bathroom, floors, and windows, and a very happy Jace.
My mom arrived Saturday evening and I was so relieved to have here. She goes way beyond the call of duty as mom and makes my life much easier. I am one well rested mommy for just having a newborn.
Will has been a great baby so far. He loves to nurse and loves to be held. Those are two things that aren't as easy this time around since having to juggle a rambunctious 18 month old AND a new baby. We are all learning to adjust.
My baby boy doesn't seem so little anymore. When did he get so big?! STOP GROWING UP!!
Here is our snuggly little boy enjoying a little R & R between feedings.
Jace has taken to his new big brother role pretty well! There have been some signs of jealousy (as to be expected) but overall he just ignores him, which is better than smothering him, or gives him a nice gentle pat or hug.
I am so thankful that the weather is turning warmer and that we can break up our day with a couple trips outdoors. I love being a mom of two!

William Hugh Tonagel

William Hugh Tonagel made his grand appearance on March 5th at 5:03 pm. He weighed 7 lbs 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. We couldn't be happier to welcome him into our family!

We were surprised that he didn't look more like Jace. He is his own, unique person!
Nana and Papa celebrating their 5th grandchild!
Sweet baby of mine...

Here is Dad taking his first snooze with his second born. Aren't they precious?!

The hospital has a strict visitation policy at the moment which means that Jace is yet to meet his little bro :( Here is a family pic minus a VERY important part to our family. We miss him so much and can't wait for them to meet!
Thanks to everyone for thinking of us and praying for a safe and healthy baby! We are so thrilled that he is finally here!

Camo boy

We had a great weekend! We won our second round conference tournament game (did you follow that?) on Saturday and Jace got to spend some quality time with his cousins, Charlie and Sawyer. He loves those boys, following them around wherever they go, copying their every move. It's so cute! And thanks Nana and Papa Tonagel for all those trips you make to Marion for ball games. We really appreciate it!! We will host Tuesday for the conference championship and if we win would be the first one in school history! How exciting!

I am feeling good but have been experiencing some major Braxton Hicks contractions... just waiting for them to turn into the real thing (any day now little baby)!

So not much to report, just thought I would post a picture of our big boy chillaxin' on Sunday and Mommy's 39 week belly (please excuse the unshowered and puffy picture of me but it was the best I could do). This boy looks exceptionally well in camo.

So long belly button!
